- A hearty congratulations to three UMBC womens players for being selected to the Victorian Womens team for 2012- Ursula Howard, Bronwyn Gell and Jess Johnson. All three have represented Victoria in the past, however this is the first selection for Jess in the Victoria Blue team- a wonderful achievement given the depth of women’s baseball in Victoria.
- They will compete at the National Women’s Championships to be held in Canberra between April 7 and 14. If you see them around the club at training, please be sure to show your support, and congratulate them on their fantastic achievements. There is no doubt they will represent Victoria well.
